Dear event community,
The City of Vancouver Special Event Policy is going to City Council for approval on Tuesday September 10th, 2019. The Special Event Policy report will bring forward a series of recommendations to support special events in Vancouver based on our engagement with the community and analysis.
If approved by Council, the Special Event Policy recommendations would be implemented in 2020.The Council agenda and policy report which outlines our recommendations will be available one week before the meeting on Tuesday September 3rd.
You can find it here on the City’s website. We have been asked how people can have their views heard on the Special Event Policy and there are a few ways:
