Mentorship Program

The PCMA Canada West Mentorship Program aims to enhance professional growth within its members. Whether you are an experienced industry professional, a fresh member, a young talent, or in a career transition the program pairs members to promote continuous learning, professional advancement, and foster a stronger sense of community within the PCMA Canada West chapter.

Commitment to the Program:

  • Assignments are made on a yearly basis (i.e., April-September).
  • Mentors and mentees should discuss privacy and expectations.
  • A kick-off call will be held for all mentors and mentees to outline programming and suggested meeting times.
  • The schedule that works best for the mentor/mentee pair will be determined by them.
  • We encourage mentors and mentees to connect once a month (a 5-hour commitment).

  • Don’t let the time commitment scare you! It is manageable and flexible.
  • Practice interview skills and techniques with your mentor who can provide insight on industry interviews.
  • The industry is all about connections, making this a great starting point for newcomers.
  • Leadership and coaching opportunities for mentors.
  • Exposure to current trends, ideas, and perspectives for mentors.
  • Contribution to future upcoming chapter/industry leaders.
