THE DISASTER EXPERIENCE PROGRAM
Participants, in small groups, will work through a disaster scenario. The story unfolds with the presentation of multiple incidents in rapid succession. Each group prepares its responses to the questions provided. A table is then selected to present their results and a second table chosen to provide further insight. The scenario then pickups where it left off and the process is repeated for time remaining. This session is highly interactive and very fast-paced.

LEARNER OUTCOMES
• Understand the principles of disaster management and how they apply to meeting and event continuity planning and effective risk management.
• Improve your crisis communications and decision-making skills.
• Share personal experiences regarding event challenges and disruptions they’ve experienced.
