On April 6, 2017, leaders from across the meetings and events industry will come together to support the second annual Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID). GMID events will be held across the globe to demonstrate the measurable impact that meetings have on businesses, economies and communities. Join PCMA Canada West, MPI BC Chapter, and ILEA Vancouver for breakfast at the iconic Fairmont Hotel Vancouver where keynote, Dee Byrnes from the Disney Institute, will discuss creating extraordinary experiences.

KEYNOTE: Dee Byrnes
Dee began working for Disney in 1977 as a merchandise sales hostess on Main Street U.S.A. at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. Dee also worked in WDWR Human Resource and, in 1989, joined the Euro Disney Opening Team as Manager. Her sunset role with the Disney organization was as a leader in the creation of the Walt Disney World Human Resources Organization Development department. She was also a key member of the
Disney team that developed and implemented the leadership culture known as “Performance Excellence.”
